PMU Eyeliner — Frequently asked questions

A PMU eyeliner, also called Infralash, is a thin line placed between the lashes and just above them. The line gives you an open, fresh gaze.

PMU is suitable for all skin types — greasy, dry, oil-rich, large pores and small pores. For anyone who wants anything from natural make-up to a fairly striking, strong make-up look. IZZI Beauty looks at and discusses all your wishes before we start a treatment. Everyone is unique, and we like to honour that by placing the personal, perfect Infralash for each individual.

The minimum age for permanent make-up is 17, in which case one parent must accompany you to the treatment. Over 18 you may decide about the treatment yourself.

The Infralash / Eyeliner treatment is experienced as very mild pain. A numbing cream is used, so you feel virtually nothing.

Aftercare is always discussed with you right at the treatment and sent by email afterwards. For the first 7 days you may not go in the sun, and you may not scratch the little scabs during the healing process. You should apply Bepanthen ointment to the Infralash almost every hour. You can use: baby ointment, a caring cream, or one specifically for tattoos.

You return after 6 – 8 weeks for a touch-up. During a touch-up treatment we can make the shape a little crisper and the colour darker, more intense or warmer. The touch-up treatment is always included in the price of the first treatment. The touch-up treatment must, however, be done within 9 weeks at the latest; if not, we are required to charge from € 50.00. After 8 weeks the pigment fades more strongly, and we need more time to treat optimally during the touch-up.

We have a wide range of pigments. We do provide advice on the choice of the final pigment, and IZZI Brows does not deviate far from that advice, because a lot of knowledge goes into choosing a pigment. If the chosen pigment does not match your wish as a client, we cannot carry out the treatment. We only work in an extremely safe and correct way, with an optimal result for the long term. An Infralash / eyeliner does not necessarily have to be placed in black — deep dark brown or somewhat softer colours are also often requested.

Of course! IZZI Beauty is officially GGD-approved (Dutch Municipal Health Service).

You may not undergo a permanent make-up treatment while pregnant. This is because hormones make pigment take less well in the skin. In addition — and this is the main reason — if an infection occurs you cannot take antibiotics because of the pregnancy.

IZZI Beauty works with an intake form to safeguard all safety requirements. This means IZZI Beauty does not treat under certain circumstances. This is reviewed with you before the treatment via the intake form. All the details you provide are and always remain private.

After the Infralash/Eyeliner treatment you are always entitled to a touch-up treatment after 6 – 8 weeks. We do not treat earlier than that, because otherwise the healing process is still ongoing. After the touch-up treatment you still have a guarantee for up to 2 weeks. If something is not to your liking, or has faded too quickly, you can come by in consultation.

Infralash is a PMU treatment in which only a thin line is placed between the lashes and just above them. An eyeliner PMU treatment is different because an optional wing can be added, or a thicker line above the lashes.
