Ombré Powder Brows Course programme with Certificate
Day 1 — Online Preparation (10 hours): getting to know Isabella, PMU and Ombré Powder Brows; anatomy of the skin and how PMU works; understanding and applying colour and pigment theory; brow mapping and shaping including practical videos; GGD inspection and hygiene guidelines; and marketing tips for a flying start.
Day 2 — Theory & Basic Skills on Location (6 hours). Morning (9:30 – 12:00): discussing the online theory and deeper study of hygiene (GGD), colour theory and pigments — how to choose the perfect combination — and an introduction to the PMU machine with an explanation of the starter kit. Afternoon (12:30 – 15:30): practical exercises with brow mapping in three ways, practising on each other, and tips to start up your own salon professionally.
Day 3 — Practical Training on Location (6 hours). Morning (9:30 – 12:00): practising on latex with outlines, pixels and perfecting the ombré effect. Afternoon (12:30 – 15:30): practising brow mapping on a model, with feedback and refinement of the ombré powder brow technique.
Day 4 — Treating a Model (6 hours). Morning (9:30 – 12:00): preparing the work table in line with hygiene guidelines, filling in the intake form and discussing it with your model, and carrying out the full treatment under the guidance of a PMU expert — brow mapping, colour selection and pigment preparation, precision drawing and the practical execution of the Ombré Powder Brows technique. Afternoon (12:30 – 15:30): before & after photos for your portfolio, evaluation of the treatment with personal areas for improvement, and presentation of the certificate.

IZZI Beauty has translated its expertise and years of experience in permanent makeup into the ultimate PMU machine. Since 2021 we have offered a wireless machine that combines precision, ease of use and versatility.
This machine is specially designed to meet the highest demands of PMU specialists. Because you can easily change stroke lengths, this machine lets you perform all types of treatments for PMU Powder Brows and Lip Blush, including Freckles, Stretch marks and even Fineline tattoos.
When you take part in the Ombré Powder Brows Beginner Course, you get the chance to try out the wireless PMU Machine. Test the machine during your practice sessions and the exam on a model, receive advice from our trainers on optimal use, and if you decide to purchase the machine, we help you with a seamless transition to professional use.

General information
Course duration: 10 hours of online course material in the IZZI Online Academy, 3 days of intensive training on location (09:30 – 15:30) amounting to 18 hours of practice-oriented guidance, and additional homework in which you treat 5 models in your own salon with a time investment of 20 hours. The total study time therefore comes to 52 hours.
Prior experience: no prior training is needed to take part in the course. The beginner course is accessible to anyone who wants to become a PMU specialist. There are no special requirements; PMU stylist is a self-employed profession with no mandatory government requirements.

Structure of the course over 6 days
Day 1 — Online preparation
More than 100 topics, accessible forever via the IZZI Online Academy.
Days 2, 3 and 4 — On location
Attend consecutive lessons including the exam treatment on a model.
Day 5 — Touch-up treatment
Performed on location within 6-8 weeks after the exam.
Day 6 — Intensive return day
After 6 months an intensive return day with the opportunity to ask questions, review current results through photos and carry out latex work.

Who is this course suitable for?
The IZZI Beauty Ombré Powder Brows course is suitable for both beginners and experienced beauty professionals. You need no diploma or prior training. We guide you from the basics through to carrying out treatments professionally.
Where does the course take place?

How much practical experience do I get during the course?
You practise the Ombré Powder Brows technique on latex and treat at least one model under the guidance of an experienced trainer. This gives you the practical experience and confidence to get to work independently.
What happens if I do not pass the exam?
We always offer a free re-exam, so you can obtain your certificate with confidence.
Is the PMU certificate recognised?
Yes, upon successful completion you receive a CRKBO-recognised PMU certificate. With this you can apply for a GGD inspection and start as a professional PMU specialist.
Can I combine my course with the IZZI PMU machine?
Yes, we offer an optional wireless PMU machine. This machine is designed for precision and is used daily by our specialists in our salon. You can test the machine yourself during the course and experience how well it works.
How can I apply for a GGD inspection?
After completing the course, we help you with a step-by-step plan to apply for a GGD inspection. This inspection is mandatory in order to offer PMU treatments in the Netherlands.
What if I need extra help after the course?
At IZZI Beauty you are a student for life. We offer free access to updates in the Online Academy, participation in our Online PMU community and the option of extra practical days.
Can I also take other PMU courses?

How many models do I have to arrange myself?
You need at least one model for the practical days. If you are unable to arrange a model yourself, we are of course happy to help you find suitable candidates. The sooner you let us know, the sooner we can help you look for a model.
