The course consists of two intensive days. Day 1 is an interactive online module covering the theory and the basics of Handpoke Faux Freckles and machine Faux Freckles and permanent make-up. Day 2 is the practical day on location, where under guidance you learn both the handpoke and the machine technique and carry out an exam on a model.

Our training focuses on teaching the right techniques to create natural freckles and beauty marks that perfectly suit your client's face.

Day 1 — Online preparation (5 hours)

The online module is interactive and flexible, so you build a solid foundation for the practical day at your own pace. You start with an introduction to the world of Faux Freckles and permanent make-up.

The theoretical foundation covers complete basic knowledge about freckles and beauty marks, the anatomy of the skin and how pigmentation works, and the mapping process with which you determine the perfect placement of freckles.

In colour and aftercare you learn colour theory and which pigments suit different skin types, plus the healing process and the aftercare instructions. Finally, you receive essential tips and tricks for natural results, marketing to promote Faux Freckles in your salon, and the GGD requirements with an action plan for a hygienic workspace.

Day 2 — Practical day on location (6 hours, 10:00 – 16:00)

The practical day is entirely dedicated to hands-on training under the guidance of experienced trainers, focused on perfecting your technique and building confidence.

You start by reviewing the online material and answering questions. This is followed by the practical training: pigment discussion and choice for different situations, an introduction to the PMU machine in which you work on precision and control, mapping exercises for the perfect placement of freckles on latex, and a full treatment on a live model under professional guidance.

The day ends with personal guidance: time for all your questions, personal feedback and refining your technique, followed by the certificate presentation.

Online Academy and personal guidance

A month before the course starts, you get exclusive access to our Online Academy so you can prepare at your leisure. Interactive videos guide you step by step through the theory on Faux Freckles and PMU techniques, with practical tips for a successful start. The online training is mandatory and must be completed before the practical day on location.

Because you take the course with a maximum of 3 other students (a group of 4 in total), we guarantee personal attention and guidance. Experienced trainers support you continuously while working on a model and demonstrate tips and techniques throughout the day.

After completion you get access to our active Facebook and WhatsApp groups, where you can ask questions and share experiences with colleagues. Our trainers remain available for support and advice during your first treatments in the salon. The course is available in both Dutch and English.
