Ombré Powder Brows is a form of permanent make-up for eyebrows applied by micropigmentation. Pigment is placed in the upper layer of the skin using pixels. Because pixels are used, the eyebrows get a 'powdery' effect. Very natural and beautiful. The "ombré" starts as a light base that fades into a darker effect towards the tail of the eyebrow.

Hybrid brows are a popular form of PMU that combines two techniques, namely hairstrokes and shading. This combination creates a natural-looking yet defined eyebrow with both structure and depth. The result is fuller than hairstrokes alone, but softer than a fully shaded eyebrow.

You may be wondering what the difference is between powder brows and hybrid brows. Both are forms of permanent make-up for the eyebrows, but they differ in technique and appearance.

PMU is suitable for all skin types: oily, dry, greasy, large pores and small pores. It is for anyone who wants anything from natural eyebrows to a fairly striking, bold make-up look. IZZI Beauty looks at and discusses all your wishes before we start a treatment. Everyone is unique, and we like to honour that by creating the perfect, personal Powder Brows for each client.

The minimum age for permanent make-up is 17, and one of the parents must accompany you to the treatment. From the age of 18 you can decide on the treatment yourself.

The Powder Brows treatment is experienced as mild pain. A few people find it sensitive. We work with a numbing cream, so you feel almost nothing.

The aftercare is always discussed with you straight after the treatment, and sent by email afterwards. For the first 7 days you must stay out of the sun, and you must not pick at the scabs during the healing process. You need to cleanse the eyebrows twice a day with a special soap, and apply Bepanthen ointment almost every hour. You can use baby ointment, a nourishing cream or a product made especially for tattoos.

After 6 – 8 weeks you come back for a touch-up. During a touch-up treatment we can make the shape slightly sharper and make the colour darker, more intense or warmer. We can also give the eyebrows more of a powder effect with extra pixels. The touch-up treatment is always included in the price of the first treatment. The touch-up must, however, be done within 9 weeks at the latest; if not, we are obliged to charge from € 50,00. After 8 weeks the pigment fades more strongly and we need more time to treat it optimally during the touch-up.

We have a wide choice of pigments. However, we give advice on the choice of the final pigment. IZZI Brows does not deviate far from that advice, because choosing a pigment requires a great deal of knowledge. If the pigment you choose does not match what we advise, we cannot carry out the treatment. We only work in an extremely safe and correct way, with an optimal result for the long term.

Of course! IZZI Beauty is officially approved by the GGD (Dutch public health service).

You may not undergo a permanent make-up treatment when you are pregnant. This is because hormones mean the pigment does not take as well in the skin. In addition, and this is the main reason, if an infection occurs you cannot take antibiotics because of the pregnancy.

This is possible, but there must be 2 weeks between your last filler or Botox treatment and the application of permanent make-up.

IZZI Beauty works with an intake form in order to guarantee all safety requirements. This means that IZZI Beauty does not treat under certain circumstances. The intake form is used to go through this with you before the treatment. All the information you fill in is and always remains private.

After the Ombré Powder Brows you are always entitled to a touch-up treatment after 6 – 8 weeks. We do not treat earlier than this, because the healing process is otherwise still ongoing. After the touch-up treatment you have a guarantee for up to 2 weeks. If anything is not to your liking, or has faded too quickly, you can come by in consultation with us.

Powder Brows and Microblading both fall under PMU, but the difference is enormous. With Powder Brows, natural pixels can be applied and saturated to your liking, while with microblading only hairstrokes are placed, as if you have more hairs. Microblading is applied in the third layer of the skin, is a very painful treatment and causes quite a lot of scar tissue over time. With Powder Brows you have none of this! Want to know more?
