Expanding your permanent make-up treatments with the freckles tattoo
Have you been wondering for a while which treatment you want to add to your permanent make-up treatments? The Faux Freckles, also known as the freckles tattoo, is a super good addition for your clients! Within 2 treatments you will already have recouped the investment of the course.
What does a freckles tattoo treatment cost?
Of course it is useful to know roughly what price you can charge. There are not yet many providers in the Netherlands and Belgium. You can of course set the prices yourself based on the prices of your other treatments. In practical terms, the Faux Freckles PMU treatment is much shorter in time and you use far less pigment than when you offer a Powder Brows or Lip Blush treatment.
If there are competitors, do look at what they roughly charge in your area. You can use a starting price or a fixed price. A starting price works well if you notice that you get many different requests for the quantity of freckles from your clients. Does one client want a maximum of 10 freckles, and another their whole cheeks and nose covered? Then use a starting price.
We would advise you not to go too low. You cannot then suddenly raise the price a lot should someone later set up close to you, and especially because you still have to take costs into account: needle, pigment, intake time, treatment time (often a little under an hour) and the touch-up with the same investments again.
Our advice: choose an amount around €150 to €250. If you end up only having clients who want half their face filled, plus a touch-up after 6 weeks as well, then you will still spend well over 2 hours on that client and barely make any turnover. You might as well focus on another treatment that does bring in more.

What will you learn during our training?
Per topic we have a number of videos in which we explain the theory to you. You watch along with tests we carry out to show how you can recognise the best pigments. You can also see per section what percentage of the course you have completed. On average you spend about 5 hours on the online Freckles training. We try to give you as detailed an explanation as possible and answer all your questions during the training.
In the training we show how incorrect freckles are placed, and how you can recognise them. Also what they do to the skin and in the long term.
Practising the freckles tattoo on latex
In addition to our favourite products, which we share with a full product list, you can also find a video in the course in which we practise the Freckles on latex with our PMU machine.
On latex you see what incorrect freckles are, how we place the Sunkissed freckles, and how we create freckles on latex with multiple pigments. We show you what certain undertones in pigments do and what this ultimately does on a client's skin.

Faux Freckles / Freckles tattoo healing process
We also thought it was important to show you how a Freckles Tattoo treatment is carried out. That is why we filmed 2 live models on whom we place the freckles with permanent make-up. They are 2 completely different girls, with very different skin. We explain which type of pigment suits whom best and why. At the end of the online training you receive a PDF in which you can see the healing process of the PMU freckles of both ladies. From day 1 through to day 7 you see what the freckles do on the models' faces. This way, when you start offering the treatments after the training, you can also inform your clients as well as possible. Because you now know, for example, how a pigment heals and what the healing process does over 7 days.
