What exactly is colour correction?
A colour correction, it sounds a bit strange. But once you know what it is, you understand why it has been given this specific name.
In the past, tattooing was often done too deep into the skin layer, which is why, decades later, many clients now walk around with grey or red eyebrows. This is of course not attractive, as grey is very dull and drab, and red far too warm and visible. It is of course great if you know exactly what you can do about this to make it look beautiful. Because simply placing a different, somewhat darker brown pigment over grey or red eyebrows is unfortunately not the solution.
But there is another solution. And that is carrying out a colour correction. Which pigments do you need to carry out a colour correction? We explain everything to you from top to toe in the online course.
Beautifully correcting red or grey eyebrows
Beautifully correcting red or grey eyebrows by means of a colour correction takes time. When the old permanent make-up is still clearly in the skin, a client often cannot assume that it can be corrected straight away within one treatment. It depends on several things:
Is the old shape still very visible, and does the client want to keep the same shape or would they prefer a different shape?
Is the front of the eyebrow very saturated? Then it will be a full shading
Is the old shape so saturated that the correction has to be carried out in two treatments

A colour correction treatment
A colour correction treatment is often done in 2 sessions. This is because when the old colour is very visible or still well saturated in the skin, a correction first has to be carried out on its own and then needs to recover. Only after 30 days does the client come back to complete the correction.
After the first correction treatment, the client will already see results within 1 to 2 weeks.
