Ombré Powder Brows Treatment Ombré Powder Brows is a form of micropigmentation in which the tail of the eyebrows is more saturated and becomes gradually lighter towards the front of the eyebrows. This is done by placing pixels (tiny dots) in the first layer of the skin.

The Ombré Powder Brows treatment gives a powdery, natural effect and causes no damage to the skin. The pain you experience during the treatment is also minimal.

Powder Brows last for about 3 to 4 years. Permanent make-up fades over time. You can keep a sharp shape by coming in for a touch-up treatment once every 1.5 to 2 years.

Ombré Powder Brows are permanent make-up eyebrows, applied to the skin without damage using a special technique.

The eyebrows can be placed symmetrically and quite naturally, so you wake up with perfect eyebrows!

With Ombré Powder Brows, the front of the eyebrows is shaded more lightly and the shading becomes darker towards the tail of the eyebrow. This gives you a beautiful gradient that looks natural and soft.

The effect of this treatment is that the subtle way of pigmenting makes it look as if the eyebrows have been filled in with brow powder.

How Are Ombré Powder Brows Applied?

Ombré Powder Brows are applied by means of permanent make-up. Using a minuscule needle in a machine, pigment is introduced into the first layer of the skin. This is done with a pen into which a needle/hygiene module is inserted.

In terms of technique, permanent make-up resembles tattooing, but the aim is somewhat different.

The needle leaves tiny pixels that look like small dots, which makes the overall look of powder brows quite natural.

We use this technique to create full and natural-looking eyebrows.

How Long Does a Powder Brow Treatment Take?

A treatment takes around 1.5 to 2 hours on average. This includes the consultation, discussing your wishes, pre-drawing the shape and choosing the pigment. Only once all these steps have been approved will we start the treatment. During the treatment, too, each step will be clearly explained.

The treatment is often experienced as painless and often even feels comfortable. After the treatment you will be given an aftercare form. It clearly explains how to care for your eyebrows during the healing process. It also states what you can expect during the healing process.

Of course, we will also go through this with you verbally. We also try to schedule a touch-up treatment with you straight away for 6-8 weeks later.

How Long Do Ombré Powder Brows Last?

Powder Brows remain visible for around 3 to 4 years. However, we recommend having a touch-up treatment after 1 to 1.5 years to maintain a sharp shape and beautiful colour.

Aftercare for Powder Brows has a very big effect on how well the pigment is retained. That is why we always advise you to follow the aftercare very strictly. It also depends on sun damage, beauty treatments such as peels and microneedling, and the use of scrubs on your skin.

Sun damage in particular leads to significant pigment loss in permanent make-up eyebrows. However, Ombré Powder Brows fade gradually, and no bare patches will suddenly become visible as pigment is lost.

Soft Ombré Powder Brows

There are various methods for applying Ombré Powder Brows. Nowadays you can go in any direction, including the very natural one. Whether you have a lot or very few hairs of your own, we can give your eyebrows a very soft look.

Soft Ombré Powder Brows are applied using the same technique, except that we use different hand movements and saturate the pigment in the right way in a fade. Clients are often very happy straight after the treatment, because it does not look too intense even then.

The photo alongside shows what soft brows can look like, although the eyebrows will still fade by around 30-50%.
