What can you expect during a PMU course?
You only start an Ombré Powder Brows course when you are sure this is something for you. After all, you invest not only effort but also time and money. And this must ultimately pay itself back by generating profit relative to the investment you have made.
If you are already in the beauty industry, for example lash extensions or brow shaping, then it is a logical step to expand with permanent make-up. But besides the fact that women are becoming more aware of the beautiful PMU treatments, it is also simply the case that the PMU world has not yet reached its peak! So there are still many opportunities that can take you very far. There are really only a few PMU artists who fly around the world giving permanent make-up training. To that extent, the supply is still fairly minimal. Opportunities are waiting. And you can be part of that too!
What I personally love about the PMU profession is that there is little hatred and envy. If you move in the PMU world, women are more likely to help each other than to trip each other up. Why? Because there are plenty of clients anyway! And everyone has their own "signature"; a signature is the characteristic way in which the PMU is applied by the PMU stylist in question.
During a PMU course you can therefore expect a relaxed atmosphere. You learn together with an intimate group, in great detail every day, what the PMU world actually is. We take you along in every step. It is no coincidence that we worked on our permanent make-up courses for almost a year. We only want to give you the best!
I personally felt that I was not taught everything during my own course. You pay a hefty sum of money and actually expect it to be absolutely top-notch. And of course I was incredibly happy and proud after my course, but I still missed something. I have a question about doing powder brows. Is everyone allowed to do it? Or do you need a specially equipped room and to be inspected by the GGD or something similar?
Hi Brigitte, Everyone is allowed to practise the profession as long as they have completed a beginner course. The room in which you will work (at home or in a salon) will, however, be inspected by the GGD. You also learn about this topic in depth in our course 🙂
