Lip Pigmentation

Lip pigmentation is a semi-permanent make-up treatment. Pigmenting gives your lips a natural result, symmetry & optical volume!

What Is Lip Pigmentation?

Lip pigmentation, also known as Lip Blush, is a form of semi-permanent make-up in which pigment is applied painlessly to your lips. It gives your lips a natural colour, corrects asymmetry and can even make your lips look fuller. So you no longer need lipstick and always have a fresh look!

Whether you have thin, asymmetrical or dark lips, lip pigmentation is suitable for anyone who dreams of perfectly groomed lips. This treatment is even ideal for lip contours that have faded because of a cold sore.

Scars or smoker's lines can also be made less visible with this technique. Do you have fillers? No problem, Lip Blush can be applied over them effortlessly, as long as there are at least 2 weeks between the two treatments.

The result stays beautiful for up to 5 years, depending on your skin type and lifestyle. Aftercare is essential! Follow the aftercare instructions carefully, such as avoiding sun, sauna and make-up during the first 10 days.

Does a lip pigmentation treatment hurt?

  • No, most people do not experience the treatment as painful.

What are the healing process and aftercare like?

After the first session, about 30% of the result is visible. After the touch-up session, in which the colour is optimised, you will see the full effect.

  • Day 1-3: Your lips look fuller and darker than the final result. This is normal and settles by itself. Day 4-10: Your lips start to peel slightly. This is a natural process in which the colour becomes more subtle. Do not pull at the flakes yourself! Day 11-28: The colour temporarily seems less visible, because the skin is still recovering. No reason to worry, this is part of it. Day 29-50: The colour comes into its own and the final result becomes visible: natural, fresh lips that suit you perfectly!

Which colours are possible?

  • There are many different colour options, all of which we will show you. Colours can also be mixed to your wishes for a unique shade.

Who should not have lip pigmentation?

  • This treatment is, among other things, not suitable for pregnant women or in the case of recent cold sores.

Lip Pigmentation Before and After

Most people choose this treatment to create a symmetrical lip shape, add a warm natural colour, or give optically more volume.

During the healing process, which takes 4 to 6 days on average, the colour gradually fades. After the first treatment, 40-60% of the pigment can disappear, which is completely normal. A touch-up ensures that you lose less pigment (20-30%) and that the result is perfectly fine-tuned.

The effect of lip pigmentation remains visible for up to 5 years, with the option of having your lips touched up every 1.5 to 2 years. This depends entirely on your personal preference.

Lip Pigmentation Aftercare

The right aftercare is essential for a smooth recovery and a long-lasting beautiful result after your treatment. To care for your lips properly, you will receive a special care balm straight after the treatment. This product helps support the healing process and prevents dryness or a tight feeling. Apply the balm regularly for 7 days for optimal comfort and recovery.

Although your lips may feel a little dry in the first few days, lip pigmentation is one of the fastest-healing semi-permanent make-up treatments. Many people already see the first beautiful results within 4 to 6 days, as the colour becomes more subtle and natural.
